Class Structure

St Anthony’s is an over-subscribed Catholic Primary School that has expanded from a one form to a two form entry school all the way from Reception to Year 6. Our school is named after our Patron Saint; Saint Anthony, who was chosen because when the school opened in 1974 it served a large Italian community in West Watford. Each year group is divided into Lisbon, (where St Anthony was born) and Padua, (where he worked, lived and died).

The year groups are spread across three buildings; the Early Years block- which is dedicated to Mary, the Main building- which is dedicated to Saint Anthony and the Saint Francis building- which we have dedicated to Saint Francis.

The main building and the Saint Francis building are connected by the Link corridor which is where the Year 3 classrooms are.
